Great!!. Part of the plan is to have each track agree to have at least 4 racers show up for each race at each location. This is based on the idea the most of us race at least 2 different classes. Thus, we would easily have enough to make several classes.
There is more. I am waiting for everyone or anyone to state if he or she will be the POC for their race location.
I've handled the scheduling for our current points series so you can put me down for Nitro Toys. My # is 601-316-0354, or you can reach me at the track most afternoons at 601-992-1353. Our strongest classes right now are 17.5 rubber touring and 1/12th scale (13.5/1s), as we have started running 17.5 touring exclusively for club races and only running 13.5 at points events. WGT has taken a downward slide for club races but still has a pretty good showing for points events, and we are building a VTA class that looks like it will be strong once everyone gets cars built. Foam touring seems to be going the way of the dodo everywhere, even at big events...the Birds has only one class for foam touring in 2010 and three rubber tire classes. Just get in touch with me either on here or by phone when you are ready to get the ball rolling!

Thanks for responding. Basically, when I get info like you have provided regarding classes, I will be able to present everyone with something we all may agree upon.
Currently, we have 5 VTA cars ready to run and an additional one for rent. The 1/12 pan-cars are still hanging on with about 10 cars that may show up during the week and an additional one for rent. Foam TC has all but faded out. The rubber tires are making a comeback :-). There are between 6-10 cars. WGT still has about 4 cars still hanging on- thats including the one that I am building now. Go TeamXray!!!
As far as motors go, by the time this race comes up, everyone should have made the switch to 13.5s/1s for TC and pan-cars at my track. VTA might be a mix between 21.5s/2s, 27Ts/4-cells or 17.5/4-cell; however, there are cars waiting to start racing in this class. Right now some of us still run 19Ts/4-cell, 13.5s/1s, or 19T6-cell.
I have made it known to everyon that comes to race on a regular basis (whatever that may be) that in January 2010 they should be running 13.5s/1c for 1/12 pan-car, and WGT. Touring will be 13.5s/2s or 6-cell.
Lastly, I will continue to request info from others regarding this event..
THANKS again!!!
